An article on earth.com states that a “significant geomagnetic solar storm is currently in progress.” That storm is caused by eruptions on the sun that sends plasma hurling into space and often towards Earth. Most are harmless because of Earth’s atmosphere, but besides causing the Northern Lights, they have been known to cause grid failure and blackouts around the planet. The current storms are going to be erupting for at least three weeks according to the Space Weather Prediction Bureau and the National Oceanic Atmospheric Center. They are warning “an extended period of heightened geomagnetic activity, known as the Geometric K-index of 5.”

Further predictions by the scientists have declared that the moon not having atmosphere will be in the direct path of these powerful solar flares. They claim the plasma will directly hit the moon at the time of the eclipse causing a massive scattering of the plasma as it collides with the moon. The usual effects of the eclipse will be followed by the moon being knocked off its orbit by a ratio of 4:1:24; making it change the way we see the moon and have for thousands of years. The plasma will also penetrate the moon’s surface causing it to conceivably split the surface and possibly breaking apart.

Scientists are also stating that the radioactivity involved in the plasma collision will affect the earth at its surface because it will not be a singular form, it will be several trillion micro-segments of the highly radioactive substance. It is predicted the path will affect the earth in correlation with the eclipse. This has many religious leaders clamoring the apocalypse is upon us. Archbishop Dayuv Apruno has been quoted saying, “The end of days are upon us as told in the holy writings. The skies will rain fire and burn the earth. The righteous will be taken to heaven and the sinners will burn.”

These are all the concerns of many high-ranking officials who have been trying to keep the public from knowing, to keep panic from ensuing over the country and the world. A few scientists have speculated the many stories of this phenomenon occurring in the past historical writings may have been because of the solar flare storm and eclipse falling at the same time. There have been records of fire balls falling from the skies in prehistoric references, ie; carvings, pictures and writings. The scientists at the Space Weather Prediction Bureau and National Oceanic Atmospheric Center agree that it could be a likely result at the point of totality during the eclipse. “The extreme radioactive sunlight around the moon at the time of totality (which is the dangerous blinding light) mixed with the plasmatic scatter will make a significant effect on the atmosphere and most likely the surface of the earth.”

To protect yourself from the dangerous effects of the harmful rays and plasma “the best bet would be to find a cave or underground facility.” Dr. J. Joshing told reporters. The solar storm will be at it’s peak on the 8th of April sending hundreds of plasmatic flares towards Earth. Finding shelter and avoiding the solar eclipse altogether is the best way to avoid the cosmic event. Or finding a bronze skin suit to wear during the eclipse is also recommended. A world-wide meeting of scientists and astronomers will convene to determine the exact dimensions of this phenomenon will take place on April Fool’s Day in Celoron Park where they can further discuss Lucy’s protective ensemble.
