Ellicottville NY

Celebrate this weekend, October 8 & 9 at Ellicottville’s Fall Festival; the oldest, and largest, takes place when the foliage of surrounding hills are ablaze with color! Festival-goers are in for a lively weekend of unique foods, arts and crafts, chairlift rides, demonstrations, sales, live entertainment and much more! For the energetic and athletic on October 8th, Holiday Valley will be hosting the 3rd Fall Scramble.

Fall Festival is a fun, family-friendly way to kick off the changing seasons in Western New York and what better way to do so than a trip to the top of the hill on a chairlift to see the trees in their fall colors? Every autumn Holiday Valley opens a lift or two to give visitors and leaf peepers that very thrill. The Mardi Gras lift will run Fall Festival Weekend, October 8-9 as well as October 15-16. The Spruce Lake Quad lift will be open Saturdays and Sundays through October 30. Hours are noon-4pm, $12 per rider, children 6 and under are free. Backpacks or bags are not allowed on the lift, nor are dogs.

For the energetic and athletic on October 8th, the Valley will be hosting the 3rd Fall Scramble. It is a 4 or 8-mile trail run starting with a ride up the Spruce chairlift to the top of the hill for the start! You can register online at runsignup.com. Registration is at Yodeler Lodge.
