It’s time to do some wonderful holiday shopping! Beginning November 22nd, and continuing through December 23rd, the Arts Cafe Gallery, located at 5 East Main Street in Springville, NY will be hosting their annual Petit Noel Show & Sale. The work of over forty artists will be on display, and available for sale. There will be canvas-wrapped (twelve-inch by eighteen-inch) photos, small paintings, greeting cards, ornaments, scrap metal art, ceramics and pottery, wood carvings, jewelry, beeswax candles, and fiber art. Springville Center for the Arts merchandise will also be available, including t-shirts.

Matt Retzlaff, the Springville artist whose studio is in the former Springville Railroad Depot, specializes in sculptures made from scrap metal. “‘The Nut and Bolt Bee’ is my signature piece”, he said. “It’s made from reclaimed nuts, bolts and scrap.” About two of his other pieces, he commented: ‘The Reindeer’ is made from 100% scrap metal. The mini chainsaw is made from scrap metal and real chainsaw chain and measures about five inches long.”
