TimberHut Cabin Company is a custom build manufacturer of premier auxiliary dwelling units. Located in Great Valley, just minutes outside of Ellicottville on the 219, TimberHut specializes in designing, building and customizing guest-ready cabins for premier outdoor experiences. From desert resorts, to rural glampgrounds and winter sports destinations, the company has the experience and expertise to make most visions a reality.
The company was founded in 2020 by Brooks Anderson with the inspiration to create a comfortable, safe and secure space to enjoy the great outdoors. Joined by Jim Dailey, their vision was to create spaces to be aesthetically pleasing and well-crafted, while providing an oasis in nature. “During the pandemic, we were approached by a friend to develop four glamping units for a property in West Virginia,” says Jim, Vice President of Development. “We both live active lifestyles and enjoy the outdoors, so the project appealed to us. It proved to be a bright spot during such dark times of Covid. More people were looking to get outdoors and appreciate nature. One thing led to another, and TimberHut was born.”
Since its inception, TimberHut has used only the best quality materials. “We carefully select materials that make the product easy to maintain. We focus on keeping the dwelling comfortable, safe and secure, and partner with companies that help ensure this. Insulation is high priority, and we’re proud to say our products achieve the highest ratings possible. This not only keeps heating and cooling costs low for the owner, but also increases the structural integrity of the unit and improves sound buffering.”
TimberHut designs custom builds unique to the needs of each customer. “We look at the intent, purpose and functionality of each project in order to design the best product for each individual customer. We aren’t a cookie-cutter type builder, and we have no set layout. We hope to give each customer a design personalized to the space that best fits their needs.”
The team has designed custom builds for a variety of customers across the country to areas including Utah, West Virginia, and across New York State. They’re working on projects with commercial resorts in Puerto Rico, The Catskills and the National Parks Regions of Wyoming and Utah. “Our team has the upmost standards for quality. Our craftsman are true artisans and build with relentless quality.”
The overall aesthetics of TimberHut are Scandinavian inspired with a modern feel. “We want our customers to feel at one with nature in a well-built product.” The designs are fresh and modern, creating the ultimate sanctuary.
