You are invited to experience a journey back in time for two weekends this month at the Medieval Feast Dinner Theater, held at the Peek’ n Peak Resort in Clymer. This event takes place in the Retreat Building on November 13th through 15th and November 20th through 22nd, featuring both afternoon and evening performances. Get ready to partake in this seasonal event, that offers a blend of a tasty feast, music, and a comedic dinner show that will transport you to the era of kings, queens, and damsels in distress.
The Riverside Players are once again putting on this amazing show. They are a local theater troupe based in the Western New York and Northwestern Pennsylvania region. For nearly ten years, they have been hosting the Medieval Feast at Peek’ n Peak. Instead of watching the performance from a distance, audience members experience the story unfolding around their tables while they enjoy their meal. During the show, some of the actors also serve as you wait staff throughout the evening.

The show features humor, bawdy jokes, interactions with characters like Queen Elizabeth, and comedic musical parodies. It includes a bit of audience participation, pulling guests into the jokes, banter, and engaging gossip about the Queen and her subjects. The cast moves among the tables, encouraging the audience to participate, that may include yelling out, clapping along to the beat, booing the “villains,” and sing-a-longs to catchy, comedic choruses throughout the evening.
During the show, guests are served a multi-course medieval feast. Your meal begins with items such as “stone soup”, salad, and bread, followed by a delicious roasted stuffed chicken, pork ribs, and a tasty apple crisp dessert. Be prepared to eat the entire feast without utensils, just as people did in medieval times. Although not included in your dinner theater rate, there is a full bar available for your enjoyment. Please take note that you should bring along some cash as cash tipping for the serving staff is required.
Guests are welcome to take photographs during and after the show. After leaving the Retreat Building, consider heading over to the bar at Bistro 210 inside The Inn. There’s a chance that some of the cast members may show up there, providing an opportunity to mingle with the performers over a cocktail and providing more photo opportunities.
Additionally, Bistro 210 often features live music for post-dinner entertainment. On Saturday, November 14th, Shani Bills will be performing starting at 9:30pm. Then, on November 21st, Dark Water Duo will entertain the crowd with a variety of music from 9:30pm-12:30am.
For guests attending the dinner show that are interested in staying overnight, overnight packages are available. The overnight package includes a one-night reservation at The Inn, along with two guest dinner theater admissions. Additionally, overnight guests receive passes to the pool complex, so you can enjoy this amenity at the resort before or after the show. It’s recommended that arrangements for the overnight packages are made in advance, particularly during the weekends of the dinner theater performances, as they tend to draw in larger crowds.
The shows will be held on Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30pm, with doors opening at 7pm. On Sundays, the matinee performance starts at 2pm, and the doors open at 1:30pm. For more information about the Medieval Feast Dinner Theater, to make seating reservations, or to inquire about overnight packages, you can visit pknpk.com or call 716-355-4141 to speak with a representative who can assist you with all your inquiries.
