On Friday, April 24, Bemus Point’s Ellicottville Brewing Company opened its doors for the 10th season. The well-known brewpub and restaurant is a seasonal destination, known for its craft brews, elevated American pub cuisine, and picturesque outside patios. Whether it’s the view of Chautauqua Lake, the live music of all varieties, or the full bar, the experience chronically leaves guests returning for more.
General Manager Topper Clemons has been with the company for over three decades and has much to do with the success of the Bemus Point location. “We’re so grateful to the community for their continued support over the years,” Clemons understands. “Even being in the heart of a vacation destination, we wouldn’t be who we are today without the local residents and visitors, alike.”
Since its inception, EBC has brought energy to the village. Between vibrant music and an unparalleled event lineup, every day offers not just a meal, but an experience. This year you can look for Trivia Night every Wednesday, acoustic sets on Fridays, and DJs come Saturdays. A brunch intrigue is home to rotating musicians every Saturday and Sunday.

On Sunday, May 10, EBC will host a Mother’s Day Jazz event, offering an attractive menu of seasonal cuisine, live music, and drinks with mom in mind.
New to this summer’s vitality is chef Addison Paddock. He brings extensive skills from Chautauqua Institution and around the Buffalo region. “We’ll be offering ten new menu items to our all-day menu, including a croissant segment, distinct burgers, a summer spiced salmon, and a divine pineapple cashew chicken fried rice,” Paddock passionately shares.
The sprawling bar will expand on fan-favorite adult milkshakes, curated cocktails and, of course, endless tap lines with craft beers by the dozen. EBC brews are always pouring along with featured guest brands, both beer and cider; further, mocktails and NA beers are available. “We love to rotate local flavors,” Clemons shares. “We’re fortunate to have such great local varieties to highlight.”
The momentous 10th anniversary will be celebrated on June 24, featuring live entertainment, generous giveaways, and guest bartenders and servers. Favorite classics over the years will be offered along with $10 specials. Clemons said, “we’re looking forward to hosting our community and extending gratitude for their support over the ten-year lookback. We hope to bring back some of the incredible servers and bartenders that have worked with us over the years, inviting familiar faces to create the same welcoming atmosphere our guests have always loved.” He also states, “we’re really hoping everyone will join us for a day of reuniting so that we can celebrate the endless memories we’ve built.”
The popular lakeside destination is renowned for good reasons. The spacious side patio and front deck offer ample accommodation to soak in the scenery. Enjoying a drink outside is easy with Monday through Friday happy hour from 4-6pm with $5 drafts and wine.
Ellicottville Brewing Company operates throughout three locations, remaining a major player in the New York State craft beer scene since 1995. The brew pubs are otherwise located in Ellicottville and Little Valley, NY. Follow the brand on social media outlets or visit their website, ellicottvillebrewing.com, to stay “in-the-know.”
