A few months ago, there was a rumor that the owners of Wicked Warren’s in Warren, PA, were going to open a location in Jamestown called Wicked Jimmy’s. Well, it’s not a rumor, because Wicked Warrens is coming to Jamestown this summer, but it will be called Wicked Warren’s – Jamestown not Wicked Jimmy’s. The owners of Wicked Warren’s are opening this innovative brewpub at 119 West Third Street, where the Jamestown Brewing Company had previously been. It’s in a great location in the heart of the city and will bring the community to downtown for drinks, delicious food, and some great entertainment.

Wicked Warren’s History

But before talking more about their new location, here is a little background on Wicked Warren’s. For years, co-owner Rob Roth, who is originally a Frewsburg native, owned cigar stores in Buffalo and Rochester. Soon after he bought the cigar store and two adjacent buildings in Warren PA, he got the idea to open a brewery. Some of his family and friends joined him as co-owners, and Wicked Warren’s was born. Rob is the founder, the CEO, and general manager of Wicked Warrens.

The doors to Wicked Warren’s were first opened in January of 2021. Shortly after opening, they had to close because of the Covid pandemic. When the business resumed, they reopened with mostly new staff and management. As of February of 2023, Wicked Warren’s has been a successful thriving business.

Now, the new Wicked Warren’s – Jamestown has four floors. The brewery is in the basement. The main floor at street level, will include most of the main dining and drinking area. The second floor is the mezzanine and will have an additional dining area. Part of the mezzanine will be designated as a “Speakeasy Bar.” This speakeasy will encompass a 1920’s theme and decor. It will be similar to a VIP area, serving high end cocktails and wines. Rob said they hope to have the speakeasy opened by the end of October.

The third floor has a large venue space that can hold up to 400 people, but it will have the ability to divide the room into smaller areas to accommodate smaller parties and meetings. This area is being renovated to put in a new bar. This space can be rented out for weddings, graduations, and other social gatherings. This floor will also include a “Bridal Suite” that will feature a room where the bride and her bridesmaids can get ready for a wedding, with lots of mirrors, furniture, and a private bath-room. If the ceremony is elsewhere, they can come back to freshen up. They hope to have the Bridal Suite available for fall and winter weddings. Also, in the near future, they are also hoping to open up the rooftop for small gatherings of up to 50 people.

The group of owners are excited that they are just weeks away from opening Wicked Warren’s in Jamestown. They are planning on taking the entire menu from the Warren location and featuring it in Jamestown and adding a few new items to the new location’s menu.  This new menu will include a variety of wood fire pizzas, wings, soups, salads, burgers, panuzzos, and other sandwiches. In addition to this menu, they are planning on having some entrees and some specials on the weekends. Rob said, “We recently purchased a new wood fire pizza oven. The Jamestown location has a huge kitchen with all the amenities that any chef could ever want. This will facilitate having a larger and more diverse menu in Jamestown.” Rob also stated that they are going to have an area called Pizza Towne, in which customers can sit and watch them throw the dough and make pizzas in front of the pizza oven.

The unique brewpub will feature 18 taps, fifteen of which will be for a rotating selection of brewed beers and will include lagers, IPAs, and some of their other proven favorites. Two of the remaining taps will have their brewed sodas and one tap is for their seltzers. They make a neutral seltzer, and customers can add one or more of the 50 flavors to customize their seltzer to please their palate. They call these seltzers “Wicked Elixirs” and they are their number one selling beverage in Warren. The new brewery’s bar will also include name brand wines and liquors as well.

On July 13th, they will be hosting their Grand Opening starting at 11am. The first 50 people to enter will receive a commemorative item. They will have special merchandise for sale that day as well as some raffles and prizes. The Grand Opening will have five different live music soloists performing starting at noon. The anticipated music lineup will include Miranda Wilcox, Kaylee Williams, Dean Wells, Jerry Johnson, and Kenny Anderson. All details of the Grand Opening have yet to been finalized and will be forthcoming soon.

Keep an eye on Wicked Warren’s Facebook page for more information and updates on the Grand Opening. You can also see the current menu of the Warren location at wickedwarrens.com.

The owners of Wicked Warren’s as well as the Jamestown community are super excited with the anticipation of the new Wicked Warren’s – Jamestown. Rob said, “Our vision is to make Wicked Warren’s – Jamestown a community hub, where everyone feels at home, and they will gravitate to. There will be such a variety of atmospheres all under one roof including Pizza Towne, our specialty dining area in the window, casual dining in front of the stage, and slightly more elegant dining on the Mezzanine. You can sit at the bar, at the new counter overlooking the main floor, or outside on the front sidewalk. Enjoy our unique Speakeasy, whoop it up at a wedding upstairs, or climb up on the roof to enjoy the weather. We want to be Jamestown’s premier dinning, libation, banquet, and entertainment destination. We have something for everyone so, Come Join Us!”
