My Birthday Brunch Brag About!
Art Cloth and Craft, Pea Pod and Juniper and Restaurant Truffle Honey Collaborate in Mayville, NY.
This is the year of my 40th reunion, so as a 1983 graduate of Southwestern Central High School, you know I am not getting any younger. What I am getting though, is prouder. My heart swells with pride that four of my most favorite women are “All That”!
Jeanine Zimmer publishes this paper and most importantly, my articles. Well, the ones in before deadline anyway. Just old and slow am I and she runs circles!
The next two female finds came to me as a pair, I met them last year and I added them here. These two talented sisters extraordinaire: Lauren Edwards and Bobbie Spare. There was a day when I was young that I wore the dresses tightly hung. Alas with her years, Time might drive me to tears, but for their business, Art Cloth and Craft (AC&C), dispelling my fears. Wearing their fashions belies my years, I will try however to maintain my lane here.
For my last female boast is a friend I love most, having grown up together and never burning our toast. Pea Pod & Juniper is her claim to fame. My dear Kim Carlson what a fantastic name.
Does this story end here? Of course, it does not, the last three got together to start something hot!
With Mat and Morgan Dinger, now that name is a ringer. They’ve converted The Reverie Creamery space into CHQ marketplace. In case you are lost there is no extra cost. Stay on Rout 394, it takes you right to their door. Make no mistake, they’re on the Stowe side of the lake. You won’t want to be late; the food and shopping are GREAT!
To the men I reveal, romance is real. A gift of flowers brings a smile should you choose to beguile. These pictures should you gander, each week will grow grander, as too will this space lovingly named CHQ Marketplace.
