Pour Taproom Ellicottville
Update on the Upcoming Spring Season

Spread the love

Pour Taproom just opened in Ellicottville right next to the new Lincoln Boutique Motel this past December, and they’ve already been warmly welcomed by the community. The restaurant offers a full bar and menu of traditional pub-fare alongside their unique 30 tap pour-wall with stunning views of Ellicottville year-round.

Matt Prime and Joe DiCenzo are grateful to have opened during a successful ski season. “We’re thankful the weather cooperated to help make this ski season such a success,” says Matt. “It’s been great to be so well-received by the community; we’re thankful to everyone for helping us get started off well.”

Pour Ellicottville offers a casual, laid-back atmosphere situated just outside the hustle and bustle of the village, and just around down from the slopes of HoliMont and Holiday Valley.  Vaulted ceilings and large windows give the space an open feel, with a fireplace giving a cozy vibe. The menu features smash burgers, wings, beef on weck, wraps, salads and more, along with a full bar and of course, the tap wall.

The 30 taps rotate regularly, but typically include a variety of local and regional brews. The taps tend to showcase local breweries, but also feature breweries from out of the area for the locals to experience, including beer, ciders and seltzers. Pour also offers a full bar with wine, bottled domestics, and specialty cocktails.

During the month of March, Pour featured local musicians on Fridays and Saturdays, and will again host bands during the warmer months with full schedule to be announced. “We’re looking forward to making the most of our outdoor space during the summer months,” says Matt. “We’ll be expanding our outdoor seating to allow our guests to take in the beautiful views, get fresh air and enjoy the warmer weather.”

This past week, Pour started Happy Hour specials on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 3-6pm with 25% off their tap wall and $5 well drinks. They’ll also soon be offering wing night on Wednesdays with 5/$5 wings and a variety of sauces available. “We enjoy trying new and different things for the community to enjoy,” says Matt. “We’ll be adding a Trivia night and hopefully a Pig Roast weekend during the summer.

Pour is hosting a “Night Before Easter” trivia game, Saturday, April 19 from 6-8pm to kick off their trivia night series.

Pour Taproom is open year-round and embraces the seasons with plans for a Mother’s Day Brunch, golfing specials, and vendor events through the summer months. Pour will be installing a bike rack to better accommodate those who bike in, as well as mountain biking. “We want everyone to know we’re open year-round, not just ski-season. We love being a part of this four-seasons resort town, and we aim to appreciate all the area has to offer.”
