As per every year prior, there will be captivating concerts, mesmerizing dance recitals and screenings of your favorite films. The season is packed full of performances that are sure to inspire your inner artist and create beautiful memories. Week one begins June 24.

The Chautauqua Institution Amphitheater was originally built back in 1879. This first wooden Amp structure was replaced by the current structure that was initially built in 1893 which has been renovated multiple times over the years. The amphitheater has retained its historic style despite the renovations and plays a great role in every experience at the theater.

The Amphitheater’s performances are meant to inspire, educate, entertain and engage a diverse and growing audience. Just like the Amphitheater’s structure itself, the performances celebrate both tradition and innovation as the classics are still heavily enjoyed but accompanied by new artistic revelations.
