This season’s top performers include some of our favorites like Atomic, Blizzard, Volkl and Nordica. Whether you have an appetite for floaty powder skis, all mountain performers, gutsy sidecuts for groomer days or blazing fast race equipment, our ski wall has exactly what you are looking for. Our “go-anywhere” recommendations would be the Atomic Bentm 90 or Bent 100, the Nordica Enforcer 88 or Enforcer 94, and the Volkl Kendo or Volkl Deacon 84…all offering a blend of go-fast stability, all mountain versatility and can handle anything at your favorite resort. On the women’s side, we’re jazzed about the Atomic Cloud Q12, the Blizzard Black Pearl 88 the Nordica Wild Belle 84 and the Volkl Kenja.

   It can be challenging to choose the right equipment that suits your level and style preference. We demo almost all of the high-end skis on our wall and usually in more than one size. With a greater variety to choose from, the better the chance our customers will find the proper ski. We also offer daily ski and snowboard rentals. Last season we added the “performance rental” to our fleet which gives customers the opportunity to upgrade to an all-mountain ski designed for hardpack, groomers and bumps.

   For the 22/23 season we wanted to accommodate all who rip down the mountain standing sideways and our snowboard wall shows it! We have added Nitro, Public, Kemper and Whitespace, adding to our existing fleet that consist of Rome SDS, K2, Ride and Nidecker. These leading brands consistently deliver outstanding product year after year. We also carry a vast selection of boots and bindings from Union, Vans, DC, K2, Ride and Kemper.

   The 22/23 season marks Rome SDS’s twentieth anniversary. Twenty years of heeding the call and living in pursuit of the next great day on the mountain all while keeping snowboarding core with every decision. To celebrate the twentieth anniversary Rome rereleased one of the most iconic Agent graphics from its Archives.  The Rome team was working hard to improve the Vice binding. The vice is built for sleeper pow days that turn into full send afternoons with its legendary HOLD, found only with their AUX tech strap package. 

   K2 the OG ski and Snowboard company a true pioneer in 1987 K2 was also the first to engineer and launch women specific products known as the Women’s Alliance. MSG proudly supports offering a full line up of K2 women specific boards to accommodate all skill levels.

   Public is the board of choice if you are looking to hit the street or park, soft enough to conform to those acute angels you are likely to encounter in the urban environment but cambered enough to boost and land in the park. Nitro snowboards are dependable with a lengthy history. They are designed for the intermediate to advanced rider. With consistent flex and matching reaction, the Nitro snowboards pair perfectly with their integrated bindings to attack all mountain conditions.

   Whitespace developed with insight from Shawn White the most dominate half pipe rider. These boards are built to handle and edge and go lighting fast. Whitespace boards combine tech with riding experience to be the beast that covers the mountain.

   Our helmet and goggle collection is bigger and better than ever! The entire front corner of our store is allocated to this growing category. We have a huge selection of helmets from Giro, Smith, Oakley, Sweet Protection and POC. We carry goggles from Smith, Giro, Oakley, Revo and Sweet Protection. This year’s favorite helmets include the Smith Vantage, the Giro Tor Sperical and the Oakley Mod 5. These helmets look slick and feel great, all while offering state-of-the-art protection and smart features. Fully integrated helmets are definitely a growing trend. These all-in-one helmets are undeniably futuristic looking with a zero-percent chance of a gaper gap between the helmet and goggle. Our favorites include the Giro Orbit, Giro Essence and the Oakley Mod 7.

   For seamless goggle compatibility we suggest the Oakley Flight Deck XM, the Smith I/0 Mag or the Giro Contact. All feature color boosting lens technology, anti-fog treatments and interchangeable lens options. Upgrading your old pair of goggles for a new pair will make everything you see look just as good as it did when you upgraded your television from standard to high definition.

   The first step in finding a proper fitting boot is finding the right bootfitter. Mud, Sweat n’ Gears has become a destination for people who want specialized boot-fitting. These days customers seem to understand the importance of the hands-on, face-to-face experience of buying boots. Finding the right boot fit takes time and means more than just trying on a pair or two of boots. Our staff is very good at what they do and take the time to make sure the boots they fit you with are suited to your needs and abilities.    The MSG “Speed Factory” is home to the most innovative tuning machinery from Montana of Switzerland. Weather you need a basic wax, base repair or a specialized race tune, we can help. In order to complement the existing machinery, we added a new tool called the “Wax Future”. This machine uses an infrared heat source to heat the base of the ski. This provides better and deeper wax penetration into the base of the ski, for longer and better gliding on the snow. If you find yourself frustrated by catching edges, have no bite on hard snow, see damage on your base or you neglected your equipment over the summer, it’s time for a proper tune-up at the Speed Factory.
