It’s time to celebrate Easter and there are several Easter festivities in the area that you and your family will want to consider attending. Here are a few we recommend:

Fredonia will be having its Easter Festival on March 23rd, 2024, from 9am-1pm. They will be serving a pancake breakfast at the Fredonia First Methodist Church on Church Street. While you are there, you can have breakfast with the Easter Bunny and have your picture taken with him. There will also be craft vendors in the basement of the First Church Fredonia from 9am-1pm. At 12:30pm, there will be the Annual Easter Egg Hunt in Barker Commons. If you’d like to volunteer for this event or for more information, go to festivalsfredoniany.org/easter-festival.

The Chautauqua Safety Village in Ashville will be having an Easter Carnival on March 23rd from 11am-2pm. Their admission to this festival is $5 per person, with children under two free. Your admission includes a bounce house, (weather permitting), carnival games, a carnival style funhouse, crafts, and train rides around the village. Marty the Bubble Guy, who puts on a fun musical show, will be performing at noon. Explore the village where candy will be handed out. Kettle corn and other food and drinks will be available. There will be a visit from the Easter Bunny with photo opportunities.  Most of the activities will be outdoors, so please dress accordingly. If you want more information on this event, go to

The community is invited to the 3rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Randolph American Legion. The Easter Egg Hunt will start at 10am, but you can get in starting at 9am. There will be raffles and a chance to have pictures taken with the Easter Bunny. This will take place outside, weather permitting, so dress accordingly.
