The M&T Clothesline Festival truly has something for everyone! How often do you find photography and painting, jewelry, ceramics, and much more art, along with belly-dancing, jazz, and more music, kids’ activities and great food trucks in one beautiful spot? This weekend, September 9th and 10th, between 10am-5pm each day, hundreds of artists from around the country will be offering art on the grounds of the Memorial Art Gallery in Rochester. The categories include photography, paintings, woodcuts, jewelry, ceramics, and more.
Photography at the festival with scenes of the great outdoors, including popular scenic spots in Western New York, will be offered by David Lawrence Reade. One of his most popular photos is “New Day Born”, a sunrise that he captured by climbing to a mountain peak with only a headlamp to light his way.
