Saturday March 16th marks the first Comedy Night at Ellicottville Brewing Company in Little Valley (EBCLV), just 8 miles outside the village on 2nd Street. Gather some friends for a night of laughs for this first of many fun events to come.
EBC is collaborating with Next Stop Comedy to bring a surprise line-up of stand-up comedians to the area. “We’re always looking for fun different events to bring people out to our space and this fit the bill perfectly,” says Hannah Riter, EBC Event Coordinator. The company has been running shows on the East Coast for years and specializes in bringing top acts to breweries in various cities.
The comedians names are not released until the night of the show, for an added element of surprise. “It keeps things fun and interesting. No matter what, it’s going to be a fun night of laughs.” Guests can expect about 2-3 comedians with a runtime of 70-90 minutes.
EBC will be offer drink specials along with a special menu of snacks and sharable items. “It’s a great opportunity to show off our space here. We invite everyone to come out for a night of laughs. It’s a great way to get through mud season,” says Hanna.
Ticket sales for the event have been steady, with a good amount still available online. This is one of many events upcoming at Little Valley. On Friday, March 29th at 6:30, EBCLV will be hosting an Easter themed Charcuterie Workshop with “A Board Above”. Guests will learn about Charcuterie and assemble a board on a 12-inch reusable charger, which they can take home. Tickets include a pint of beer or wine, and guests are welcome to come early to enjoy dinner before the class. Purchase on EBC website or through Eventbrite.
“We plan to keep doing new shows and events here to help put Little Valley on the map,” says Hannah.
