Whether you are looking for holiday family fun or nighttime adult entertainment, there’s a variety of entertainment in Chautauqua County this weekend.
Family Entertainment
“Something Rotten”, is a musical comedy play at Jamestown Community College. Performances are November 16th -18th at 7:30pm and a matinee on Sunday at 2pm.
November 17th & 18th – Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour Concert Film is at the Reg Lenna Theater in Jamestown starting at 7pm. The audience will be entertained with music of Swift’s 17-year career.
November 17th – Kick off the holiday season at the Christmas in Westfield Festival that continues through Sunday. It will have a variety of holiday activities, including the lighting of the Christmas tree with Santa, horse drawn carriage rides, and a moving Festival of Lights and more.
November 18th – In Jamestown, the Fenton Museum Holiday Craft Fair is from 10am to 4pm. Vendors will be scattered throughout, as you enjoy the mansion with unique gift items to purchase. In Falconer, the annual Santa Parade will start at 5pm on Main Street and continuing to Colson Park. After the parade, Santa will greet children and there will be a petting zoo and refreshments.
Adult Entertainment
November 16th – Comedy Open Mic is at Labyrinth in Jamestown, starting at 8pm. While sipping on your favorite beverage, you will be laughing as each comedian has a few minutes each to entertain you.
November 17th – Five and 20 Spirits & Brewing in Westfield will be having customer Appreciation night. Multi-instrumental singer/songwriter Miranda Wilcox will perform a variety of tunes starting at 5pm, along with beer and cocktail specials.
At Big Inlet Brewing in Mayville, you can enjoy some craft beer while listening to Buffalo’s Jason Mirek performing his own original music starting at 6pm.
Also starting at 6pm, the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel in Celeron hosts “Dueling Pianos”. It’s a great show with high energy music and comedy performance with audience participation. Call 716-489-2800 for tickets.
To hear some rock and roll covers, go to the Good Time Saloon in Jamestown where “Backlog” is performing, starting at 9pm. You can play darts, pool, or quick draw while the band is jamming.
Enjoy some great food at the Hide-a-way Restaurant in Steamburg while “Black Widow” rocks it out. Black Widow is a well-known local band that’s been playing in the area for over 13 years. They will be performing their widely diverse acoustic version of their rock set list starting at 6:30pm.
November 18- “Lopaka Rootz” plays uplifting reggae music at Southern Tier Distillery in Lakewood at 4 pm. You can mingle with friends as you enjoy their wide selection of craft beers and flavored spirits.
Also in Lakewood, Tyler McClain will get your toes tapping with a variety of country, rock, and pop at Group Ther-Happy at 7 pm. They have great wings, specialty pizzas and other yummy food on their menu.
Nearby at the Celeron Legion, classic rock band, “The Freeze”, will start at 8:30pm. It’s a relaxed atmosphere where you can play pool, darts, or try your luck at playing tickets at the bar.
