“Astrodiac Mystic Shop isn’t just a place to buy crystals, it’s a sanctuary for the soul.”, said Ricki-Lin Kovacevic, the owner and creator of the Astrodiac Mystic Shop in Springville. “I want everyone to have a good experience when they step inside. From incense and smoke cleansers to oracle decks and jewelry, every product we offer is carefully curated with intention.”
The atmosphere of the shop is both welcoming and magical. While she always welcomes customers and recommends products, it’s easy and enjoyable to browse among the crystals and gemstones yourself because every display area is clearly labeled with the qualities linked to them. In every corner of the store, intriguing and colorful objects catch your eye, including various kinds of crystal carvings.
“Our offerings extend beyond just products”, she continued. “We believe in fostering community and growth through education and shared experiences. That’s why we host a variety of readers, classes and workshops and are always taking suggestions for what we can do next. For those who seek deeper connection and insight, we also hold regular new and full moon circles where you can come together with like-minded individuals to set intentions, release what no longer serves you, and harness the energy of the lunar cycle for transformation.”
“I aim to help customers ignite a sense of healing, wholeness, and balance in their lives.”, she explained. “Whether it’s through a carefully selected crystal, a moon circle, or creating your own manifest jar, my goal is to empower people on their journey of self-discovery and self-healing.”.
How did she decide to open the shop? “I began making wax melts in 2020 which people fell in love with and encouraged me to sell.”, she said. “I wanted to have an assortment of things and I wanted the name to be different and unique. So I combined astrology and zodiac to make Astrodiac, and added Mystic Shop to cover the other things I would be adding.”

“In April 2022 I quit my 9 to 5 job to focus on the business. This also allowed me to spend time with my mom, helping to care for her in the last three months before she passed. She was a force of a woman and a force of a spirit, I will say, When I drove by 31 East Main Street and saw the “For Rent” sign, everything about it felt right, especially when I saw ‘Julie’s’, the restaurant right across the street. My mom’s name was Julie; it felt like a confirmation I was where I needed to be. In June of 2023, I signed the lease to the storefront we now call home and I couldn’t be happier. It’s been a little over six months since we opened the doors and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. I’ve not only gained loyal customers but I’ve also forged some genuine friendships within the community, which I’m super grateful for.”
What are some of the ways that crystals have helped customers? “I’ve received excellent feedback from repeat customers who have noticed improvements in their life after purchasing specific crystals”, she said. “For example, I had a young lady come in looking for a bracelet for her boyfriend because he has trouble sleeping and has nightmares. I recommended a howlite bracelet which helps to calm the nervous system. She brought him in the next day and he just kept thanking me saying “It worked”. Another woman told me she got the job she wanted and that things couldn’t be better for her, right after she bought a moss agate ring.”
“When it comes to crystals, I believe the effectiveness lies in the synergy between intention and the frequency of the crystal being used”, she said. “Crystals have a steady vibe, unlike us humans who can feel different emotions from one moment to the next. When we’re out of whack emotionally, physically, or spiritually, crystals can help bring us back into balance by syncing up with their constant frequency.”
