Findley Lake Wine Walk and Shopping event on Saturday, May 9th, from 1-5pm is just in time for your Mother’s Day Weekend plans. You can stroll through the charming hamlet of Findley Lake where you can explore the downtown business district, taste wines from some of the best wineries in the area and enjoy the beautiful lakeside views. Located between Jamestown and Erie, PA, this vibrant community is known for its year-round festivals and friendly atmosphere. Join them at what is often referred to as one of “the coolest little towns around” for a memorable day filled with wine, shopping, music, and more.
This annual event typically brings in about three hundred attendees. This includes residents and visitors that come to enjoy regional wineries, artisan vendors, shopping and other businesses along Main Street. Your day will begin at the Findley Lake Fire Hall at 12pm, where attendees will register for the event. You will receive a wristband indicating to the wineries that you are participating in their tastings. You will be given a commemorative glass to participate with as well a wine slings and a bag to carry your any purchases. Inside the bag you will find some goodies from Maplevale Farms.
Your admission ticket also includes entry into the grand prize drawing, which is an overnight stay at the Peek ‘n Peak Resort in Clymer. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for other raffles as well.

After registering and receiving your wristband, you can saunter through the town along Main Street at your leisure. Your afternoon will be filled with shopping and sipping wines. Currently about a dozen wineries and beverage partners have confirmed that they will be at the Wine Walk which includes 21 Brix Winery, Bee Spit Meadery, Cellar ’54 Winery, Mazza Vineyards, Johnson Estate Winery, Woodbury Vineyards, Noble Winery, Thousand Islands Winery, and Cooper’s Daughter Spirits at Olde York Farm, along with distributors RNDC Distribution and Wright Beverage Distributing. Additional wineries may be added as the event approaches.
When you are shopping, make sure you check out shops like Our Own Candle Company, Secret Cubby, the Findley Lake Hardware and Sporting Goods, Toast Wine and Spirits, and others to show support of Findley Lake. For additional shopping there will be a variety of vendors that will be set up along Main Street and near most of the businesses that will include unique gift ideas as well as handmade goods, specialty foods, home décor, and much more.
Food vendors will be limited but you can enjoy some healthy offerings from Your Daily Serving that specializes in charcuterie that will include a delicious array of meats and cheeses that is sure to please your palate. If you want something more substantial to eat, head on over to Alexander’s on the Lake for some delicious food like amazing appetizers, wings, and pizza as well as burgers and other sandwiches. You can also get subs, soups, wraps, and other snacks from Twin Docks Gourmet Food and Deli.
Jeremy Jaeger is returning to be the live entertainment for this event as he was last year. Jeremy is a versatile singer-songwriter from Erie, PA. He will play an eclectic setlist of music covering a variety of genres of music from favorite oldies to today’s hits. He is a member of a band called The Division Street Machine, but he will be performing as a soloist for this event. Head on over to the fire hall where Jeremy will be entertaining the crowd outside from 1pm-5pm or inside if the weather is inclement.
