Saturday, May 17, marks the return of the Holiday Valley Wedding Expo from 10am-2pm. This event offers the unique opportunity for those planning a wedding to meet with over 25 wedding experts and connect with top wedding experts to plan every detail to make any wedding day perfect. The event is free, open to the public, and no re-registration is required.
The purpose of the expo is to allow people to easily meet with an array of wedding experts, from photographers to florists, to bakeries and bridal boutiques who are available for consultation and information about packages available for any wedding. Guests can sip craft cocktails and savor delicious hors d’oeuvres while they get inspired by the latest wedding trends. “The Wedding Expo will help attendees start to really map out what they want their wedding to look like,” says Dash Hegeman, Marketing Director at Holiday Valley. “By coming to spend some time with the vendors and the Holiday Valley staff, people will be able to meet a lot of professionals who can help them plan their perfect day.”
Prior to the show, guests are invited to take a scenic chairlift on the Mardi Gras 6 from 10-10:30am to the top of the resort to take in the stunning scenery at Holiday Valley. “It’s such a spectacular view,” says Dash. “We invite everyone to come take in the views, and see why Holiday Valley is the perfect place to host your dream hilltop wedding.”
While Holiday Valley has hosted Wedding Expo’s in the past, it has not been an annual event. “Holiday Valley has fantastic facilities for people to hold the wedding of their dreams,” says Dash. “We are excited to be able to host an event that not only showcases those areas but also allows guests to meet some top-notch vendors and suppliers from this area.”
According to Dash, the location of this event makes it unique. “Holiday Valley has multiple locations where people can host their wedding, and one of them is a picturesque ceremony at the top of the slopes. Here, guests can take a scenic chairlift ride to the top in order to really make the moment a memorable one. Guests will be able to speak with our experienced Holiday Valley staff to answer any questions about hosting their wedding here on our property.”
The Holiday Valley team is looking forward to hosting as many couples as possible on May 17. “We invite everyone to come out so that they can start to dream about what a fantastic wedding they could have here at Holiday Valley. There plenty of options in Western New York where people can get married, but to be able to do so surrounded by the scenic slopes of Holiday Valley, completely immersed in a beautiful, natural landscape is just one of the many things that help make Holiday Valley special.”
Additionally, one lucky couple will win a private, romantic, three-course dinner from the Holiday Valley Food & Beverage Team. Each Vendor at the show will also be raffling off a special item or offering booking discounts at the show.
