Aranar is redefining an adult retreat with plans to expand upon their first luxury villa which opened in November 2023. This new Landscape Hotel will include 17 private villas complete with private amenities as well as an on-site restaurant, bar, event center and spa. The project is underway, with plans to open in late 2026/early 2027.
Aranar was founded, developed and envisioned by father and son Cory and Jake Creeley of Creeley Construction. Jake was inspired to create an elevated couples retreat that capitalized on the landscape and surroundings. The original villa, located across from HoliMont, features a unique and modern floorplan centered around the landscape. “We didn’t want anything to take away from the view. We designed floor to ceiling 9-foot windows around the bed and living space so our guests are immersed in their surroundings.” The décor is modern and fresh, with no amenity spared.
The next phase of Aranar will include 17 private villas on the same 12-acre property. Each villa will be suited for 1-2 adults with indoor and outdoor fireplaces, outdoor covered and heated patio with large sectional seating to comfortably enjoy the views year-round. Luxury kitchenette amenities include Keurig Elite with complimentary Starbucks pods along with the finest kitchenware, beverage glasses, wine chiller complete with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth speakers. Each villa features an outdoor Hot Tub and an outdoor dry sauna with large windows, heated floors, robes and luxury shower with Halo Lighting, rain shower and steam shower.
The villa layouts are designed to enhance guest experience and maximize the natural landscape. “We aim to bring the landscape in, with sweeping panoramic view of the HoliMont slopes,” explains Jake. “We aim to bring luxury within reach.” The villas will feature three different design styles: Modern Mountain, Scandinavian and Asian inspired with a subtle spa feel.
The property will feature a self-service spa to allow guests another opportunity to relax and rejuvenate while taking in their remarkable surroundings. The space will include two hydromassage chairs along with other services (available by appointment for a small additional charge) allowing guests to curate their own relaxation package.
The restaurant will offer elevated casual dining featuring a menu of curated selections including steaks, seafood, pasta and chicken dishes, with the bar featuring craft cocktails. While the restaurant and bar will be open to the public, reservations are required in order to maintain property privacy. “We’re excited about this space,” remarks Jake. “Not only does it enhance our guest experience, but it’s an opportunity for the public to relax for the evening with a meal or drinks on the property.”
Upon completion, the restaurant and property will be available to host events, including showers, reunions, corporate retreats, birthday parties and more. “We’re excited about the opportunities to host a wide variety of events,” says Jake.
Guests will be able to create their own packages, allowing for something extra memorable to celebrate a milestone, like an anniversary, birthday, or even an engagement. “We’re planning to partner with local businesses to offer welcome gifts that enhance our guests stay. Whether it be flowers and candy or a bottle of champagne upon arrival, we know those special touches make the experience extra special.”
During construction, Jake and his team have been filming content with plans to launch a build show of the property on YouTube and streaming from their website. “It’s a great opportunity to show what the construction process is like, along with featuring many of the incredible local contractors we’ve had the pleasure of working with.” The show is anticipated to be released August 26.
As an Ellicottville native, Jake felt this location was the perfect fit for their first villa and his passion for this project is evident. “The views here are absolutely stunning and are meant to be embraced. It’s the perfect town to get-away with boutique shops and various dining and entertainment in the heart of the village just down the street.” The concept has been well received with many 5-star reviews and return guests. “It’s been awesome to watch this vision become a reality, and we’re excited to see where it takes us.”
