JAMESTOWN – Marine Corps Toys for Tots is seeking donations of new, unwrapped toys and/or cash gifts to help make the holiday season merrier for local children. In 2024, the program – operated locally by The Resource Center – distributed 31,370 toys, supporting 5,336 children in Chautauqua County.
Over 120 local businesses and organizations currently have Toys for Tots donation boxes ready to accept your gifts, including a collection box at the CHQ Chamber office in Jamestown. Toys will be collected periodically from collection boxes.
If you prefer to give a cash donation you can donate online through the local Toys for Tots website at https://jamestown-ny.toysfortots.org/.
Volunteers are needed to help select and bag toys for families. Times may vary, but most of this volunteer work is done on Saturday mornings. Volunteers are also need for distribution on Saturday, December 13 and December 20 from 8:30am-12:30pm.
