On Thursday, November 13th, join Bobbi and Lauren from 6-8pm, as they present an enchanting evening fashion show titled “A Winter’s Canvas – Fashion & Art Experience.”  Step into a world where fashion meets artistry, as this captivating fashion show unfolds amidst artwork from two local artists in the stylish upstairs spaces of the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts, located at 116 East Third Street in Jamestown.
When you enter the building, you will find your way to the front room on the third floor that’s been transformed into a stylish cocktail lounge with a fully stocked cash bar. From approximately 6-7pm, the cocktail hour will allow guests to mingle with friends, coworkers, neighbors, and others in the community who are intrigued and appreciate art and fashion. As you mingle, take a moment to admire the stunning artwork adorning the room. Local artists Leslie Calimeri and Joe Grice will be showcasing their captivating pieces, featuring picturesque regional landscapes.
Adding to the evening’s allure, Joe Grice will host a live painting demonstration, inviting attendees to witness the magic of artistry in action. This unique experience encourages guests to witness the creative process, as they observe the artist’s vision coming to life. Guests will witness the artist at work, transforming the artwork into a living, interactive experience rather than just a finished product.
As part of your admission, you can indulge in delicious hors d’oeuvres curated by the talented Julie Lampard during cocktail hour. Julie may be a familiar face from her time as a featured chef at Forte in Jamestown a while back. Her new venture, Taste Buds, offers private chef services, including interactive cooking classes in the comfort of your home, as well preparing private dinner parties and tailored catering for your special events.
At 7pm, the highlight of the evening will be the much-anticipated live fashion show organized and styled by Bobbi and Lauren. This fashion show will showcase the boutique’s broad spectrum of styles, ranging from classy casual to elegant, all from their seasonal collection. Volunteer models from the community will don a variety of outfits on the runway. The show will last approximately twenty to thirty minutes and will celebrate how fashion choices allow creativity, personal style, and personality to shine through. You will enjoy an evening filled with incredible fashion looks and artwork as the evening unfolds.
After the fashion show, guests may stay and mingle for a bit, or head down the street to Art, Cloth, and Craft. They will be open immediately following the fashion show, and all the fashionable looks that were presented during the fashion show will be for sale in the store.
Len Barry, the Director of Marketing and Communications at the Reg Lenna, commented, “Art, Cloth, and Craft are the cornerstone for downtown shopping and are excellent neighbors. They have inspired creativity in the community through the wide variety of events they offer each year. The Reg Lenna Center is grateful to Bobbi and Lauren, and we are honored to be the beneficiary from “A Winter’s Canvas”.
Join Bobbi and Lauren, along with other like-minded community members, for an evening of fashion and art. Enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres while watching the fashion show featuring live models showcasing stunning fashion looks. All proceeds of the event will benefit the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts, helping to sustain this beautiful historic landmark that keeps the area’s performing arts thriving.
