A little over twenty miles southwest of Jamestown, Peek’n Peak Resort, located at 1405 Old Road in Clymer, will be hosting its 37th Annual Fall Festival for two consecutive weekends. You and your family can enjoy the amazing kaleidoscope of colors surrounding the resort as you enjoy this fun festival. This year’s festival will take place on the weekends of October 11th-12th and October 18th-19th.
Each day of the festival, there will be a wide range of activities from 10am-5pm. There will be live music, children’s activities, a variety of vendors, and delicious food. This is an all-ages event, with free parking and general admission. Please note that while many activities are free, there may be additional costs associated with certain attractions.

Set up both inside the ski lodge and outside on the surrounding grounds, this festival will feature over a hundred vendors for you to enjoy. You can take your time browsing through aisles of vendors that include a wide variety of artisan goods, such as woodworking, paintings, pottery, candles, jewelry, photography, and other types of art. There will also be seasonal items, specialty treats, clothing, accessories, and much more. An array of food vendors will be serving a variety of food as well. To satisfy that sweet tooth, you may find treats like funnel cakes, kettle corn, and baked goods as well as other specialty treats. You will also find the Farmer’s Market providing farm fresh fruits and vegetables.
Some events will occur each day of this festival. DJ Felix will begin each morning playing some of your favorite music from 10am-1pm. The Kid’s Zone will also be open all four days of the fall festival and will include strolling magicians, carriage and pony rides, pumpkin cannons, face painting, Balloons By Nate balloon artist, train rides, kids’ crafts, and more. Peek’n Peak’s thrilling Mountain Adventures will still be operating during the weekends of the fall festival as well. You can buy tickets for these activities at the Sugar Shack if you want to experience any of these exciting attractions.
New this year, they are including the Erie Children’s Museum Mobile Museum Exhibits, which offer interactive and educational displays, activities, and materials designed to ignite curiosity and inspire play. These play-based educational experiences foster creativity and imagination and are geared towards children under 13 years of age. This addition will provide a great new activity for kids to participate in.
Another highlight of this year’s festival will be the return of the Jungle Terry Animal Show. The Jungle Terry Animal Show will be held near the Gazebo Grill on Sunday, October 12th at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm and on Sunday, October 19th at 10am. Jungle Terry will captivate the audience with live animals and features an entertaining and informational presentation about the animals. You and your group may be able to touch some of the animals, and there will be photo opportunities with them at the conclusion of the show. This is sure to be a big hit for everyone attending it.
For more entertainment, there will be live music performances each day, from 1pm-5pm, at the main lodge deck. On Saturday the 11th, Swamp Yankees will be kicking off the festival’s music with their country rock music. On Sunday October 12th, Tiny Music will be rocking the Peek’. On the following Saturday, October the 18th, Apple Jack will be rocking it out and get you moving to the beat. Darkwater Duo will close out the live music on October 19th. On Saturday October 11th only, the Southern Tier Classic Chevy Club will present its Memorial Car Show from 9am-3pm, near the beginner’s hill. There is a $10 registration fee per vehicle. Shine up your ride and show it off, and maybe you will win a trophy. If you don’t have a car to enter, come and join the fun as a spectator.
