Hamilton, ON based company to purchase former manufacturing facility; company will create 15-20 new jobs.
ELLICOTTVILLE, NY
– Daich Coatings Corp., a world leader in the development and manufacture of decorative stone coatings, high performance paints and architectural maintenance products, plans to start its United States operations in the village of Cattaraugus.
The company is seeking incentives from the Cattaraugus County Industrial Development Agency in order to purchase the former Setterstix manufacturing plant on S. Main Street. Daich would invest $1.2 million to purchase and renovate the approximately 60,000 sq. ft. facility and ultimately create 15 -20 jobs over the next two years at salaries ranging from $44,000 to $60,000.
The CCIDA Board accepted the company’s application for incentives at its September 23, 2025 board meeting. It is anticipated that the board will vote on the approval of incentives at its October board meeting.

Since 1993, Daich has been a leader in the development and production of “green”, non-toxic water-based products. Daich products are sold in Canada at various stores, including Home Hardware, Home Depot, Canadian Tire, Lowes, Rona and Benjamin Moore and in the United States at Home Depot and Lowes.
