Ellicottville Brewing Company is having an Open House of their 219 Guest House location during The Taste of Ellicottville on Saturday and Sunday, August 9 & 10, from 12-5 PM. This is the second E.B.C. Guest House offering a spacious, luxurious getaway to accommodate larger groups.

Peter Kreinheder, E.B.C. owner and founder, was inspired to start hosting guests in the area in order to better serve the community. “It just felt like a natural progression for the business,” says Peter. “We started with the brewery and restaurant, expanded locations, furthered our experience in hospitality and catering, it just felt like the next step would be hosting guests when visiting the area.”

The first E.B.C. Guest House is located just behind the Ellicottville restaurant at 37 Washington Street (behind the E.B.C. brewery) and offers a luxury retreat in the village. This newly renovated 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom 2,100 square foot boutique property offers the perfect blend of modern luxury and eclectic charm. This location launched 6 months ago, and has been very well received.

The property is perfect for larger groups looking for a getaway with enough space to gather, yet have their own bedrooms. The interior is spacious and modern with plenty of natural lighting. Mike Nickolson renovated the property to make it fresh and airy with wooden accents including statement handmade dining and coffee tables. The fully-equipped kitchen allows guests to prepare meals, or E.B.C. offers the option to cater events on the property.

The second E.B.C. Guest House location on Route 219, at 6696 Route 219 (just before the Tim Hortons on the left as you come into Ellicottville), opened about one month ago, offering 6,500 square feet, 5 bedrooms, and 3 spacious spa style bathrooms in an amazing location tucked just outside the village. The outdoor space features a hot tub, sauna, cold showers, patio, and fireplace, complete with stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

“The location is incredible,” says Peter. “This has always been one of my favorite locations in the area, tucked just outside the village but easily walkable. We’ve designed the property to have spa-like amenities, so guests can relax both indoors and out, enjoying the peaceful surroundings yet being close enough to the shops and restaurants in the village.”

Mike Nickolson renovated both properties with a similar aesthetic, fresh and airy with wooden accents including statement handmade dining and coffee tables.      The Guest House at Route 219 will be open during the Taste of Ellicottville both Saturday and Sunday, August 9 & 10 from 12-5pm to showcase the renovations and view the property. “We invite everyone, locals and visitors alike, to come out and tour the 219 Guest House,” says Peter. E.B.C. will have beer sampling and catered light bites on site, plus all attendees will receive a discount of $100 off any future bookings, and will be entered to win a FREE RENTAL PACKAGE.

To enhance the boutique-like stay, The Guest Houses by E.B.C. offer unique local merchandise for sale within the properties, including beer by E.B.C., slippers and pajamas from GI Threads, and Ellicottville sweatshirts and lounge wear from local vendors. “If interested, guests don’t even need to leave their place to shop. We can add these items onto their stay,” says Peter. “It’s a great way to support our area’s many local businesses, while giving guests a taste of what the shops have in store.”

Peter is looking forward to hosting guests at both locations, showing all that Ellicottville has to offer. “Ellicottville is the perfect getaway in any season,” remarks Peter. “It has that small town community feel with all local restaurants and shops, no chains. It’s the perfect jumping off point for hiking, biking, boating, or just simply relaxing and enjoying all the village has to offer.”
