The Bemus Point community invites you to join them for the Bemus Point Summer Fest (formerly called Bemus Point Lake Days) on August 2nd and 3rd. This festival is a village-wide celebration filled with a variety of activities, encouraging you to explore all the village businesses for shopping, dining, recreation, and entertainment throughout the weekend.
“Ahoy, there mateys!” As in previous years, you can set sail through the village that will have a pirate theme featured at many retail shops and restaurants that may be participating in the Bemus Point “Treasure Hunt”. To be a part of the action, you visit the participating businesses to collect special stickers until you fill a sticker sheet. Then you turn the sheet in at any participating location to enter a drawing for a chance to win the grand prize treasure which is a basket filled with goodies from all the participating businesses.

Lake? Bemus Point has organized two full days of fun, food,
live music, shopping, and lakeside adventure next Saturday
and Sunday, August 2 &3.

up all weekend long.
Last year during the Bemus Point Lake Days, The Village Casino hosted their Wing Fest, where they set out to break the Guinness World Record by selling over 50,000 chicken wings in just 24 hours. Excitingly, they succeeded! This year’s Wing Fest is back! They still hold the record, so instead of trying to break a record, they’re focusing on serving up delicious wings both outside in the park and inside The Casino. Come enjoy some and savor the flavor of these mouthwatering wings.
The Wing Fest will feature live music both days. On Saturday, The Unparallel Band will perform a variety of music in the park from 5-9pm. We Speak Canadian will play rock and pop music inside The Casino, and they will rock the docks from 9:30pm-1:30am. On Sunday Goldirocks will perform classic rock in the park from 12-3pm, followed by Honky Tonk Heroes playing country tunes from 3-6pm.
Next to the Village Casino, the historic Stow Ferry will be setting sail throughout the weekend for grand adventures. The ferry has been plowing the waters since the early 1800s and will be taken over by friendly pirates but fear not! It will be running back and forth, guaranteeing a merry voyage across the lake throughout the weekend.
The Bemus Point Historical Society Museum is holding its annual lawn sale fundraiser on Saturday from 10am-2pm. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure, so this may be perfect spot to find yourself some treasures while showing support. There is also the likelihood of other yard sales around the village.
The Lawson Center will be having boating exhibits and vintage watercrafts on display as well as a Deck Sale filled with nautical-themed items. Come in and check it out as it will be open Saturday from 10am-5pm and Sunday from 1-5pm.
The Bemus Point Golf Club and Tap House is hosting its 7th annual Green Egg Fest BBQ on Saturday from 11am-3pm. All food will be prepared using a Big Green Egg charcoal grill. Hand-picked chefs will be serving a variety of food, including breakfast items, various meats and dishes, and even desserts. Attendees can look forward to an abundance of delicious food and great fun, along with a chance to win a Big Green Egg grill. Live music by OsbornNash will be performed from 12pm to 3pm.
Something new this year is that Bemus Bay Water Toys is now offering lake cruise tours on their brand-new Tiki Boat. You can BYOB and snacks while enjoying this floating island with a thatched roof, comfy seating for up to 16 passengers, and music to get you in the party spirit. The Tiki Boat will be running during Summer Fest, offering a fun way to cool off and take in the stunning views of the lake.
Since Bemus Point will be super busy all weekend, you may need to park quite a distance away. Miss Joanie will once again be providing rides around the village in her 8-person stretch golf cart limousine. Flag her down or call her at 716-338-5095.
Join the fun at the Bemus Point Summer Fest, where plenty of activities await you. This fun event focuses on supporting local businesses while embracing a pirate theme throughout the village. You will enjoy great entertainment and indulge in delicious food. It’s the perfect opportunity to gather with family and friends while taking in the majestic views of the lake. Check out the Bemus Point Summer Fest and discover the treasures of Bemus Point!
