This summer, Holiday Valley’s Cabana Bar is hosting a summer music series showcasing local musicians every Friday evening. The lineup includes various genres of music featuring artists with a local following, bringing people together for a relaxed evening every week throughout the summer months.
Holiday Valley has had music at the Cabana Bar in past, but last summer the venue hosted bands more regularly. “We put an added emphasis on having live music here weekly,” says Dash Hegeman, Marketing Director for Holiday Valley. “The goal was to make sure that people knew every Friday they could come up to the resort and have a fun time with some great tunes.”

some music before heading out to dinner in the Village.
The Cabana Bar has an array of food and drink offerings with a specific menu that comes from Edna’s at the Tamarack Club. Additionally, the Cabana Bar staff will be serving up cold, refreshing drinks all summer long. The bar serves guests tableside, and poolside, as it is located just steps from the Holiday Valley pool complex.

Dash describes the atmosphere at the Cabana Bar as a relaxed and chill vibe. The music offers an added element to the scene. “None of the music is overpowering,” says Dash. “Guests can have a great conversation while enjoying the amazing views that Holiday Valley has to offer. The Cabana Bar is the perfect place to come and have a drink and listen to some music before heading out to dinner in the Village.”
Campfire Junkie kicked off the Summer Music Series on Friday, June 6, followed by the Jay McDonnell Duo the next week. Henry’s Summer Kitchen will play on June 20th. Sweet Degenerates play on June 27 and Cameron Markott on July 4. Ron LoCurto plays on Saturday July 5 from 3-7pm to help celebrate Summer Music Festival Weekend. July 11 brings Porcelain Train, Ron LoCurto returns on July 25, and Sweet Degenerates on August 1. Henry’s Summer Kitchen returns on August 8, Jay McDonnell Duo on August 15, Campfire Junkie on August 22, and the series closes out with Porcelain Train on August 29.
Holiday Valley is looking forward to hosting just a wide variety of local talent. “The lineup this summer covers a nice range of styles, and each act has its own local following, which always gives the fans of the band a good reason to come up to the resort to support the band.”
Dash invites everyone out to The Cabana Bar for live music, or any night of the week. “The Cabana Bar is a great place to hang out all summer long and the Friday Music Series is an awesome way to start your weekend in Ellicottville. It’s a cool setting, right next to the pools, the views of the hills and the golf course are fantastic, and the live music just makes for a really fun experience.”
